There are a total of 206 bones in the human body. Bones give proper shape to the body, provide attachment for muscles and produce red blood cells.

The largest bone in the human body is the femur bone. It can support 30 times the weight of a person’s body.

Joints can start to creak when cartilage wears out but not always.

The word “muscle” comes from the Latin term meaning “little mouse” which is what Ancient Romans thought a flexed bicep muscle resembled.
